This Aleph Bet Pendant is based on the Sterling Silver version found here. Too re-cap some of the, maybe, around, 4,000 year old commentary. There are at least 5 ways to form an Aleph; [All of the Hebrew letters are constructed form other letters with the exception of the Yud. and have number values.] the form shown being one of them. Starting from the top right: 1st up is the Bet [2], followed diagonally by the Vav [6] and last, but for sure not least, or last, but rather a photon finisher 1st, the Yud [10]. The sum of these being 18. Same as for Chai meaning to live [Chet 8 + Yud 10] shown here: Chai Pendant and here. [Please scroll down this page where one will find this Chai pendent just past the Star of David Pendant.]
While both have the 18 to live and "water" that has the molecular weigh of 18, here in the Aleph Bet pendant the Onyx stone of the Aleph is brought to a high polish whereas with the Chai Pendant the Onyx stone is more matte. Why? so?...To be continued...
