In the center hexagon of the star is Onyx. In this case not a pure black As is often the case,; Onyx has white layers of material in it, So when the stone is cut the white shows, Indeed, this can be seen as positive attribute of the gemstone [Please do a search if needed and the reason why this is true will become self evident.] Irrespective, naturally- untreated to change the gemstone color- pure black occurring Onyx can be found. but is rarer. It is a nice stone, hard to enough to work with and last. Symbolically, the central hexagon, as mentioned, might best be represented as an incomprehensible expanse that is not an expanse but rather a noting. A no-thing. The lack of color in the visible spectrum is sometimes seen as synonymous with the property / parameter of void or a void or the void. But an opposite view may prove more insightful, and thus a further contribution to one's introspection. Rather the central Onyx stone is seen as a representation of the ineffable.
